Abstract

Combat camps are designed and implemented as a complement to theoretical courses in military training centers, among which the implementation of desert combat camp has a significant contribution to education. It should be kept in mind that the holding of these camps should be held with the absence of injuries or even with the least possible injuries in all areas. The main question of this research is to what extent desert combat camps are effective on the resilience of students upon entering a military university (case study: Imam Hossein (AS) Officer and Guard Training University)? This research is in the category of applied research that tries to answer this question by using descriptive analytical method. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data.According to the findings of the research, desert combat camps are effective in the three areas of physical fitness, morale, and tolerance threshold, which lead to the promotion and strengthening of resilience, and will increase the resilience of newly arrived military university students. Also, there is a positive significant relationship between resilience and physical, mental, and tolerance threshold with a confidence level of 95%.
