Abstract

Considering the importance of mind agility in today's organizations, this research aims to design the measurement tool for mind agility in organizations. The research approach is mixed, so first, a preliminary questionnaire with 55 items was compiled using the qualitative and reviewing previous studies. then, a quantitative and survey approach was used to validate the questionnaire. The questionnaire was administered to 12 experts to determine its reliability. According to the experts' opinion and the results of the CVR, 8 items had a CVR less than (0.56) therefore were removed. Then, the CVI was (0.83) calculated for the 47 items of the questionnaire, which indicates the high validity of the designed questionnaire. the validity of the tool was confirmed by the experts and its reliability was confirmed by a statistical sample of 238 people who were selected from a statistical population of 650 people using the Krejcie and Morgan table and by stratified random method. One item from the organizational document agility component was removed due to inconsistency with other items, and the Cronbach's alpha of the final questionnaire was calculated with 46 items (0.965), so the questionnaire also has high reliability. Finally, confirmatory factor analysis was performed for the items and two items were removed due to low correlation, and the 44 items of the final questionnaire were divided into 11 components including: employee job competence, personality traits, perceptual skills, human skills, technical skills, organizational documents, organizational resources, organizational structure, organizational technologies, Psychological dimension of organization and organizational processes. The findings of the present study is design a high validity and reliability questionnaire to measure mind agility in organizations.
