Identifying the components of psychological contracts in military organizations

Abstract

Psychological contracts are formed in people's minds and satisfaction or lack of satisfaction with them crystallizes in people's behavior and attitude and leads to actions that create value for the organization.The current research was conducted with the aim of identifying the components of psychological contracts in military organizations.The research method is quantitative, descriptive-survey and stratified sampling. According to the Morgan table, through a 39-item questionnaire by collecting data from 400 employees and commanders and managers in military organizations(Army, IRGC, Faraja and Ministry of Defense), the components of psychological contracts in military organizations using the structural equation model The axis covariance was extracted. Content and face validity methods and confirmatory factor analysis were used to determine the validity of the questionnaire. As a result, a model with 13 components in the dimension of the individual's expectations from the organization and7components in the dimension of the organization's expectations from the individual in order to strengthen psychological contracts, as well as 10 components in the dimension of the individual's expectations from the organization and 9 components in the dimension of the organization's expectations from the individual in order to violate psychological contracts, was presented. Based on the findings, commanders' attention to the condition of troops, commanders' performance and spirituality in strengthening contracts and non-compliance with ethics and obligations, inappropriate behavior in dealing with troops and not paying attention to their problems, and the existence of perception management, lack of moral commitment in troops and increasing concern Financials are effective in violating psychological contracts.
