In addition to the insecurity in the region due to the presence of elements of gangs, Nessa's combat engineering units in the implementation of combat engineering operations to block the borders, with many problems such as not knowing the exact route of the land border line, determining the optimal location for the construction of buildings such as checkpoints, border guard turrets, creating They face border obstacles such as digging a canal and building a border wall and barbed wire, choosing the best route for building border roads and the vulnerability of internal forces and very high costs of equipment, machinery and manpower. Based on this, the present study investigates the use of GIS in combat engineering operations to block land borders based on the four-branch model of the components of optimal selection of points and routes for engineering constructions, reducing border disputes, reducing the vulnerability of internal forces and reducing costs as applications of GIS I.S. and its impact on border blockade combat engineering operations. This research is of applied type and its method is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population of the research is the staff members in the desired levels and categories of this research in Nessa, who were studied using a questionnaire. The results of the research have shown that there is a positive relationship between the components of using Geographical Information System (GIS) i.e. the optimal selection of points and routes for engineering constructions, reducing border disputes, reducing the vulnerability of internal forces and reducing costs and combat engineering operations to block land borders. And there is meaning. Therefore, we can accept the mentioned components as applications of geographic information system for combat engineering operations.
