Background and purpose: Today, committing crimes in the world is in the transition stage from traditional methods to new methods. Due to the fact that the use of drones has been used in committing security crimes, the present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the role of drones in committing crimes against internal security.
Methodology: This study was conducted in terms of practical purpose, in terms of a mixed method and in terms of collecting statistics and information in the field and through interviews and questionnaire tools. The participants in the qualitative part of the research included 15 experts and managers of the strategic levels of Faraja, Border Guard Command, Guards Corps and other security agencies active in the air fields, who participated in the research by observing the principle of theoretical saturation. The statistical community of the quantitative sector is also the experts of the relevant organizations and there are 40 people who were selected as members of the statistical sample of the research. MAXQDA software was used to analyze the qualitative data and SPSS software was used to analyze the data obtained from the quantitative part.
Findings: It showed that in the process of explaining the role of drones in committing crimes against internal security; There are 3 inclusive themes, 8 organizing themes and 52 basic themes.
