West Asia and its subsystems, especially the Persian Gulf region, have always been considered as one of the most civilizing regions in the world, and still stands at the highest position at the geo-cultural regions of the world. These characteristics along with the internal talents of the region have caused the process of any supra-regional policies and strategic decisions ignoring the components and sustainable realities of this region, as well as the governing interactions and communications, confront challenges and tensions. Sometimes, the policies of trans-regional actors result in reverse outcomes. One of the important strategic process, which is an important part of US foreign policy both during the US occupation of Iraq and the withdrawal of its forces from Iraq, has focused on interactions and features generally influenced by intra-regional components and norms designated against the West. The US government's tyranny of the assassination of General Ghasem Soleimani (an Iranian military official on a formal travel to another country), and his companions, including Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, left significant implications for Iran and the Resistance Front, affecting the situation in the West Asian region and disrupting some restraining rules between Iran and the US. It has been the axis of resistance and has created challenges, and of course some opportunities, for Iran in for advancing its regional strategies and policies. This study is aimed at proposing a brief overview of the West Asian regional order, the opportunities and regional challenges of the US government’s crimes for the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as the withdrawal of US forces from Iraq.
